The Great Commission​

These are the last words Jesus said to his followers. They were instructions from him as the most important thing we as people can do:

Jesus came and told his disciples, “I have been given all authority in heaven and on earth. Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”

Simply put, we are to introduce people to our Creator and share with them the JOY and FREEDOM a relationship with him brings. That is the making disciple part. The second part of teaching and obeying his commands is all about loving people so that they can meet him. That is why we want to feed people spiritually, mentally, and physically. Our God has commanded us to do so.
