"For by grace you have been saved through faith; and this is not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not a result of works, so that no one may boast." - Ephesians 2:8-9

I was born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah, and spent my childhood in the heart of downtown Salt Lake, Sugarhouse, and East Millcreek. I’m so grateful to be married to my amazing husband, and together we have four awesome kids who keep life fun and full of purpose.

I didn’t grow up going to church, but everything changed on December 27, 2012. After the incredibly special experience of being with my grandmother as she took her last breath, I knew something in my heart had shifted. Just three days later, I fully gave my life to Jesus and accepted Him as my Lord and Savior. That moment marked the beginning of an exciting and life-changing journey of faith.

Four years later, our family moved to Grantsville and began looking for a new church home. A friend invited me to Lakeview, and I’ll never forget walking into that very first pilot service at the Stansbury Park clubhouse. From the moment I arrived, I just knew—I had found my home.

Even before the Grantsville Campus held its first Sunday service, I signed up to serve on the Mainstreet team. Soon after, I joined the prayer team. I was eager to be part of what God was building and to use the gifts He gave me to serve others.

I never imagined I would become a pastor, but my heart has always been to pray, “God, use me!” And He has been so faithful to do just that.

Today, I have the joy and honor of serving as a pastor in the Kids Ministry. I absolutely love teaching children about Jesus’ love and watching their faith grow. Our Sunday morning Kids Ministry team is one of the greatest blessings in my life—they encourage me, inspire me, and remind me every week why this work matters. They truly are a picture of how “iron sharpens iron.”

Every Sunday feels like a new opportunity to impact eternity—to see God move in people’s lives and to be part of something far bigger than myself. It brings me so much joy to use my gifts to serve the Church and help advance God’s Kingdom.

You’re saved by grace, not works—and God invites you to be part of His mission not because you’re perfect, but because you're willing.
