Stansbury Park Kids Pastor

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding"
Proverbs 3:5
I grew up in the forest in New Hampshire. I still love being outdoors in the trees or at the ocean. I started skiing very young and am taking advantage of the slopes here in Utah whenever possible. I've been able to travel a lot in my life and really enjoy exploring new places. Darryll and I have 3 wonderful children and are learning what it means to parent adults.
I've almost always gone to church on Sundays. It wasn't until I moved to Oklahoma and started attending church there that I learned what it means to really follow Jesus. Being able to release all my fear and shame allows me to live free. I have a desire to help other people realize what a life of freedom can bring.

I've been a Kids' Church Volunteer since I became a mother so I've naturally moved into the position of Children's Pastor. I have never had the desire to be a pastor. It means so much more than a title or duty. However, God has plans that I can't even begin to anticipate or understand. I only know that obeying Him always brings me peace and satisfaction.
Phil was the youth pastor at the church we attended in Salt Lake City. When I heard he was planting a church in Stansbury Park, I was all in. The church is close enough that my daughter walks every Sunday. Being a leader at the church allows me to meet wonderful, godly, people. I am inspired, regularly, by the people I come into contact with. The hardest part of my position is also the people. Coming alongside people is sometimes really difficult. However, God always gives me the strength and direction needed to serve everyone He puts in my life
